Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Breezy Day On The Maas, Holland by Hermanus Koekkoek Jnr. was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 932.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hermanus Koekkoek Jnr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sailing out on choppy waters in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 25,200.00.

Die Arbeit A Breezy Day On The Maas, Holland von Hermanus Koekkoek Jnr. wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 932,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
