Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Frank Sinatra, Monte Carlo by Herman Leonard was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,436.08). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman Leonard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Jazz Studies in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,165.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Frank Sinatra, Monte Carlo von Herman Leonard kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.436,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman Leonard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Jazz Studies im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.165,63).
