The work Fats Navarro, Royal Roost by Herman Leonard was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,657.50 (€ 1,555.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herman Leonard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Jazz Studies in October 2011 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 20,165.63).

Die Arbeit Fats Navarro, Royal Roost von Herman Leonard kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.657,50 (€ 1.555,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herman Leonard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Jazz Studies im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 20.165,63).
