This artwork by Herman Brood achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. In the Nineteen to Now auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Herman Brood; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Formula 1 sold at auction in January 2005 with the realized price of EUR 4,800.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Herman Brood erzielte im März 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Nineteen to Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Herman Brood; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Formula 1 im Januar 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 4.800,00.
