A top price for Herman Brood
In January 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS, which included the work Formula 1 by Herman Brood. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,800.00 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Formula 1 is even the most expensive work of art by Herman Brood that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Herman Brood
Im Januar 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Formula 1 von Herman Brood zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.800,00 und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Formula 1 sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Herman Brood, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
