Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Herbert Menzies Marshall could be acquired at Christies in London in April 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Sunday Sale auction, the work Westminster at dusk changed hands for GBP 687.50 (€ 876.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Menzies Marshall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Houses of Parliament, from across the Thames in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 10,292.62).
