Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work View of Greenwich from across the Thames by Herbert Menzies Marshall for GBP 1,195.00 (€ 1,871.39). This price was achieved in the auction The London Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Herbert Menzies Marshall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Houses of Parliament, from across the Thames in May 2002 with an auction result of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 10,292.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit View of Greenwich from across the Thames von Herbert Menzies Marshall für GBP 1.195,00 (€ 1.871,39) erwerben.
