A top price for Herbert Hamak - as previously expected
The work Two works: (i) Untitled (Green); (ii) Untitled (Blue) by Herbert Hamak was auctioned at Phillips in London in September 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,888.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two works: (i) Untitled (Green); (ii) Untitled (Blue) is the most expensive artwork by Herbert Hamak that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.888,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
