In November 2020 Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Eric Wilson's Yacht, 1936 by Herbert Badham. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 7,380.00 (€ 6,176.77), 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Badham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work South Head, 1935 in November 2020 with an auction result of AUD 147,600.00 (€ 123,535.32).

Im November 2020 führte Bonhams in Sydney / Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eric Wilson's Yacht, 1936 von Herbert Badham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 7.380,00 (€ 6.176,77) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herbert Badham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit South Head, 1935 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 147.600,00 (€ 123.535,32).
