Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hera and her attendants by Herbert Arnould Olivier was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Pictures auction at Christies in London in November 2010. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,431.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herbert Arnould Olivier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Is Icumen In in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 331,250.00 (€ 375,869.46).
