Despite a disappointment, a good price for Henry Wessel
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Icons Portfolio by Henry Wessel for GBP 44,450.00 (€ 53,117.68). This price was achieved in the auction PHOTOGRAPHS at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 45,000.00 – 55,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Icons Portfolio is the most expensive artwork by Henry Wessel that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Henry Wessel
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Icons Portfolio von Henry Wessel für GBP 44.450,00 (€ 53.117,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 45.000,00 – 55.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Icons Portfolio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Henry Wessel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
