The work The Surrender Of The Two Sons Of Tipu Sahib, Sultan Of Mysore, To Sir David Baird by Henry Singleton was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,614.46), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Singleton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The West End of the Town; and The East End of the Town in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 41,825.00 (€ 62,248.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Surrender Of The Two Sons Of Tipu Sahib, Sultan Of Mysore, To Sir David Baird von Henry Singleton kam im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The West End of the Town; and The East End of the Town im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.825,00 (€ 62.248,13).
