Admittedly, works by Henry Singleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The West End of the Town; and The East End of the Town in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 41,825.00 (€ 62,248.13).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.680,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Singleton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The West End of the Town; and The East End of the Town im Juni 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.825,00 (€ 62.248,13).
