Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 40,320.00 (€ 35,961.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Siddons Mowbray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Lunch in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 214,078.64).
