Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le printemps by Henry Siddons Mowbray was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in New York in October 2014. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 37,909.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Siddons Mowbray have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Lunch in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 214,078.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le printemps von Henry Siddons Mowbray wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 37.909,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
