This artwork by Henry Ryland achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in March 2021. In the British and European Art auction, the work Apple blossom sold for GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,193.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Ryland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The guarded flame in July last year with an auction result of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 75,233.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry Ryland erzielte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Apple blossom für GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.193,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Ryland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The guarded flame im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 75.233,19).
