Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Highland cattle, Loch Venachar, Perthshire by Henry R. Hall. The price achieved of GBP 812.50 (€ 1,027.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry R. Hall - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Highland cattle, Loch Ness, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,325.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Highland cattle, Loch Venachar, Perthshire von Henry R. Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 812,50 (€ 1.027,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry R. Hall mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Highland cattle, Loch Ness beobachtet, die im März 2004 für GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.325,45) versteigert wurde.
