Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry R. Hall could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER auction, the work Children of The Mist changed hands for GBP 360.00 (€ 524.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Henry R. Hall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Highland cattle, Loch Ness in March 2004 with an auction result of GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,325.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henry R. Hall konnte im März 2005 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS ON PAPER wechselte die Arbeit Children of The Mist für GBP 360,00 (€ 524,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry R. Hall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Highland cattle, Loch Ness im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.325,45).
