Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2004 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Paintings, which included the work Driving cattle, Loch Ness by Henry R. Hall. The price achieved of GBP 1,015.75 (€ 1,524.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by Henry R. Hall have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2004 the work Highland cattle, Loch Ness was auctioned for GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,325.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Driving cattle, Loch Ness von Henry R. Hall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.015,75 (€ 1.524,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Henry R. Hall konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2004 die Arbeit Highland cattle, Loch Ness für GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.325,45) versteigert.
