Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition 123 by Henry Mundy was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,589.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Henry Mundy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2014 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,723.29).
