Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 282.00 (€ 405.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 400.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Livens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spring blossom and a bird's nest with eggs on a mossy bank in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,304.98).
