Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2000 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work Cattle watering in a wooded river landscape by Henry Jutsum. The price achieved of GBP 1,495.00 (€ 2,486.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Jutsum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Harvesters in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,668.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle watering in a wooded river landscape von Henry Jutsum zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.495,00 (€ 2.486,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Jutsum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Harvesters im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.668,03).
