This artwork by Henry Jutsum achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2002. In the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures auction, the work A family resting by a path sold for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,378.28) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Jutsum - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Harvesters, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,668.03).

In der Auktion British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures wurde die Arbeit A family resting by a path für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.378,28) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henry Jutsum mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Harvesters beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.668,03) versteigert wurde.
