Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures in an extensive landscape by Henry Jutsum was sold in the British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings auction at Christies in London in March 2004. The price achieved of GBP 1,135.25 (€ 1,699.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Jutsum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Harvesters in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 11,668.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Figures in an extensive landscape von Henry Jutsum wurde im März 2004 in der Auktion British and Victorian including Scottish Paintings bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.135,25 (€ 1.699,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Jutsum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Harvesters im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 11.668,03).
