In the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Seagulls On Beach At Low Tide With Fishing Boats On The Shore changed hands for GBP 358.50 (€ 515.98) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Edward Spernon Tozer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apples, cabbages and swedes in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 2,350.00 (€ 3,725.04).
