A top price for Henry James Holding - as previously expected
The work The logging wagon by Henry James Holding was sold in the Victorian Pictures including The John H. Schaeffer auction at Christies in London in June 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 13,338.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The logging wagon is the most expensive artwork by Henry James Holding that we have observed at auctions so far.
