Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The hawking party by Henry James Holding was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2006. The price achieved of GBP 360.00 (€ 527.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry James Holding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The logging wagon in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 8,962.50 (€ 13,338.88).
