Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work X Certificate by Henry Inlander was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2006, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 540.00 (€ 790.50). Admittedly, works by Henry Inlander have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View From Castello in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,100.00 (€ 5,987.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit X Certificate von Henry Inlander im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 540,00 (€ 790,50) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Inlander auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View From Castello im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.100,00 (€ 5.987,88).
