Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Hillier Parker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The midday rest, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 12,547.50 (€ 19,408.14).
