Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Evening on the Stour, Harlow, Essex by Henry Hillier Parker was sold in the Victorian & British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in March 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 899.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Hillier Parker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The midday rest in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 12,547.50 (€ 19,408.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Evening on the Stour, Harlow, Essex von Henry Hillier Parker wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion Victorian & British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 899,11) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
