In September 2007 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work Worthing, Sussex by Henry Hillier Parker. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 5,018.74), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Hillier Parker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The midday rest, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 12,547.50 (€ 19,408.14).
