The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,456.49) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Herbert La Thangue achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Leaving Home in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 666,650.00 (€ 973,287.97).
