Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Silent waters; and Harvest time on the south coast by Henry Hillier Parker was sold in the Victorian and British Impressionist Art auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,320.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henry Hillier Parker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The midday rest, which sold at auction in June 2002 for GBP 12,547.50 (€ 19,408.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Silent waters; and Harvest time on the south coast von Henry Hillier Parker wurde im Juni 2010 in der Auktion Victorian and British Impressionist Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.320,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
