In the VICTORIAN PICTURES auction, the work On the Trent, near Castle Donnington sold for GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,545.18) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Dawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Durham Cathedral From The River in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,380.70).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Dawson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Durham Cathedral From The River im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.380,70).
