Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri D'Anty could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work The birth of Christ changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 351.33) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Henri D'Anty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with red and pink flowers in a blue vase in August 2012 with an auction result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,590.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Henri D'Anty konnte im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit The birth of Christ für GBP 240,00 (€ 351,33) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri D'Anty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with red and pink flowers in a blue vase im August 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.590,08).
