Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The furnace by Henri D'Anty was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2005, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 348.12). Admittedly, works by Henri D'Anty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with red and pink flowers in a blue vase in August 2012 with an auction result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,590.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The furnace von Henri D'Anty im Juli 2005 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 240,00 (€ 348,12) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri D'Anty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with red and pink flowers in a blue vase im August 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.590,08).
