It achieved a price of EUR 4,198.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dora Maar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Picasso in December 2012 with an auction result of EUR 360,750.00.

Die Arbeit La Femme Au Vase De Pablo Picasso En Cours De Réalisation - Boisgeloup, C. 1937 von Dora Maar wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Dora Maar bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.198,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dora Maar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Picasso im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 360.750,00.
