Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2006 Christies in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work View of Château Saint Cloud, C.1850 by Henri-Victor Regnault. The price achieved of GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,328.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Victor Regnault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sèvres et ses environs, Manufacture, Porte orientale et cours d'Honneur in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 114,731.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Château Saint Cloud, C.1850 von Henri-Victor Regnault zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.328,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Victor Regnault erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sèvres et ses environs, Manufacture, Porte orientale et cours d'Honneur im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 114.731,53).
