A top price for Henri-Victor Regnault - as previously expected
The work Sèvres et ses environs, Manufacture, Porte orientale et cours d'Honneur by Henri-Victor Regnault was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2017. The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 114,731.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sèvres et ses environs, Manufacture, Porte orientale et cours d'Honneur is the most expensive artwork by Henri-Victor Regnault that we have observed at auctions so far.
