The work La Source Aux Mimosas by Henri Rousseau was auctioned at Artcurial in December 2016. The result of EUR 25,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Rousseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Flamants in May this year with an auction result of USD 43,535,000.00 (€ 40,862,586.82).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit La Source Aux Mimosas von Henri Rousseau kam im Dezember 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 25.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Rousseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Flamants im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.535.000,00 (€ 40.862.586,82).
