Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fauconnier by Henri Rousseau was sold in the Regard sur l’Algérie auction at Artcurial in February 2015. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,550.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Rousseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Flamants in May this year with an auction result of USD 43,535,000.00 (€ 40,862,586.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fauconnier von Henri Rousseau wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Regard sur l’Algérie bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.550,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Rousseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Flamants im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 43.535.000,00 (€ 40.862.586,82).
