Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in London held the auction Prints, which included the work Paysages Parisiens: Paris vu de Montmartre; Quai d'Austerlitz; L'Institut et la Cité; Les Fortifications; Le Pont des Saints-Pères et le Louvre; Du Haut des Tours de Notre-Dame (Fields p. 77, no. 2-7) by Henri Rivière. The price achieved of GBP 1,410.00 (€ 2,303.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Rivière achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'enterrement des parapluies in March 2017 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysages Parisiens: Paris vu de Montmartre; Quai d'Austerlitz; L'Institut et la Cité; Les Fortifications; Le Pont des Saints-Pères et le Louvre; Du Haut des Tours de Notre-Dame (Fields p. 77, no. 2-7) von Henri Rivière zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.410,00 (€ 2.303,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Rivière erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'enterrement des parapluies im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
