In October 2013 Artcurial held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Composition, 1957 by Henri Nouveau. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,299.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Nouveau have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Improvisation in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 10,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition, 1957 von Henri Nouveau zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.299,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Nouveau auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Improvisation im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.200,00.
