Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pierre après la baignade by Henri Lebasque was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in London in October this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,577.14), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Lebasque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 1,022,500.00 (€ 711,254.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pierre après la baignade von Henri Lebasque wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.577,14) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Lebasque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le goûter sur la terrasse à Sainte-Maxime im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.022.500,00 (€ 711.254,87).
