Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le pont de pierre by Henri Le Sidaner was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,850.00 (€ 20,795.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Le Sidaner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sérénade, Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,100,000.00 (€ 2,034,292.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le pont de pierre von Henri Le Sidaner wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.850,00 (€ 20.795,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Le Sidaner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sérénade, Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.100.000,00 (€ 2.034.292,36).
