Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Porte dans la verdure by Henri Le Sidaner was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Bonhams in New York in December last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 176,775.00 (€ 165,241.17) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri Le Sidaner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Sérénade, Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 2,100,000.00 (€ 2,034,292.36).

Die Arbeit La Porte dans la verdure von Henri Le Sidaner wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 176.775,00 (€ 165.241,17) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri Le Sidaner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Sérénade, Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.100.000,00 (€ 2.034.292,36).
