Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II, which included the work Nature Morte Aux Harengs by Henri Lachièze-Rey. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,410.00 (€ 3,665.84). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Lachièze-Rey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baigneurs à Nice, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,942.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Joseph H. Hirshhorn: Collector for a Nation, Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Harengs von Henri Lachièze-Rey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 4.410,00 (€ 3.665,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henri Lachièze-Rey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baigneurs à Nice beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 13.942,80) versteigert wurde.
