Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work A coastal landscape with horsemen and other figures outside a stable, figures in boats nearby; and A hilly river landscape with travellers on a track, a village beyond by Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Views Of The Chateau De Bercy, Paris in January 2011 with an auction result of USD 37,500.00 (€ 27,342.33).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit A coastal landscape with horsemen and other figures outside a stable, figures in boats nearby; and A hilly river landscape with travellers on a track, a village beyond von Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri-Joseph van Blarenberghe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Views Of The Chateau De Bercy, Paris im Januar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 27.342,33).
