Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2016 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939, which included the work Paysage Aux Arbres by Henri Epstein. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,980.00 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Epstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme Au Corsage Rose, Circa 1915 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 25,322.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art including École de Paris 1905-1939 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage Aux Arbres von Henri Epstein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.980,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Epstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme Au Corsage Rose, Circa 1915 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.322,00.
