Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work La Rue by Henri Alexis Schaeffer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,514.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Henri Alexis Schaeffer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2007 the work Eglise Et Boulevard De La Madeleine was auctioned for EUR 1,859.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Rue von Henri Alexis Schaeffer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.514,94) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Henri Alexis Schaeffer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Eglise Et Boulevard De La Madeleine für EUR 1.859,00 versteigert.
